For this project, I used JavaScript and TypeScript to create a webpage report which helps a potential researcher understand a week’s worth of Tweets from RunKeeper, a popular running app.
Programming Languages: JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS
The JSON file contained thousands of tweets shown on the image to the left. My job was to iterate through these tweets, assemble the different data, and create an interface that can search through these tweets.
Here I compiled the tweets into general categories, displaying the number of tweets and the data range.
The graph on the right depicts the number of activities logged for each activity. (5000 people ran, 200 people biked, etc.)
This graph on the left shows the average distance for the top 3 activities travelled.
The video on the left displays the live updating feature for searching through tweets.
The video on the right portrays the different types of graphs used to represent the data.
